Beautiful one of a kind handmade skirt from the Transylvania region of Romania. This is a gorgeous garment made from an iconic floral print often seen in folk attire from the region, finished with green rick rack, white lace and brown lace as the trim on hem of skirt. This skirt was handmade in Transylvania by a Magyar woman I met when while I was traveling there. The waist is elastic, which makes for a comfortable fit and some flexibility in sizing.

This unique and beautiful silver book locket is from the former Yugoslavia, I found it at an antique market in Serbia. It is a medium sized locket with 3 sections, including front of book, back of book and a section in the middle where a small picture can be placed. The locket is likely from the 1970’s or 80’s, and a unique selection of curio for literature lovers and collectors of unusual jewelry.
